Happy Directed Energy Kids Day

Directed Energy Kids Day – is a special educational day created to help children and young people learn about directed energy—what it is, how it is used, and where directed-energy technologies may be found in science, medicine, communications, industry, public safety, and defense. The day also helps educate young people about health, safety, and the importance of speaking up when they experience unusual or unexplained symptoms.
Through fun, age-appropriate activities, children can learn basic information about energy, sound, the senses, the brain, and the nervous system, while also learning to recognize warning signs such as sudden dizziness, unusual ringing or sounds in the ears, balance problems, headaches, confusion, vision changes, or other unexpected symptoms. Children are encouraged to tell a parent, guardian, teacher, school nurse, or another trusted adult whenever they feel something unusual or concerning. Directed Energy Kids Day promotes education, communication, awareness, safety, and appropriate medical attention, while teaching children not to diagnose the cause of symptoms themselves.
